I have seem that a few times. I usually remote into the system and make sure
the Trend folder is gone from Program Files and remove the Trend entries
from the registry. If I can't remote in, I visit the machine and do it
manually.

Attempting to perform an install of the Trend OfficeScan client to an XPSP2
system from the Trend console returns the following message after connecting
to the system: 

 

Setup will skip "SystemName". The Trend OfficeScan is already installed on
this computer.

Yet when I remote into the system I don't see that the officescan clients'
installed. I can manually install it but was trying to avoid this. I'm
thinking this and a few other systems may have been imaged by the techs in
the field but I haven't been able to confirm. So I'm wondering if anyone has
come across this and know of a way to resolve without having to visit each
system manually?
