I prefer earthquakes, especially the 7.0 ones that shake you out of bed at 4
in the morning. ;-)

Tornados scare the crap out of me. I can handle the hurricanes we get here
in Florida-they may be more damaging, but at least I know when they're
coming and can generally get away.

I was out visiting an Aunt in Oklahoma and we had one form nearby. This was
something like 35 years ago, and they made us get into the storm shelter.
My sister is out there now and several years ago they had one that later on
went and killed a lot of people form directly over the house, and there was
no storm shelter.

Seeing a tornado takes a few years off of anyone's life. I have been inside

As someone told me today matter of culture.

My sister-in-law lived in Crystal River for a number of years. One time, the
loudspeaker system announced a warning. Only, she couldn't quite hear it.
All she heard was, "garblegarblegarble IMMEDIATELY." Her first thought was
nuclear meltdown. Come to find out later it was a tornado watch or warning,
but I think the event shaved a few years off her life.

I think he is pushing for more nuclears. I was told that the plans to add 2
addition nuclear units at Turkey Point were being dusted off and there was
talk about adding to the Crystal River site an additional nuclear if they
could find the room. Man that would be fun, and I get to go back to a
previous life and make more money.

This is just a taste of things to come. Governor Crist has put a stop to new
power plants being built, but not the increasing demand for electricity. A

Seen plenty of tornado's in my life, I don't feels its shaved any years off
of what I probably didn't have in the bank to live anyways. Tornados are
pretty cool as long as they don't get close.
