Yes, you should be ok. You will know quickly if you are not. The DLs will shut down rather than smoke themselves.

Both systems are compatible with either processor, but obviously the heat sinks will be different. I can't remember the last time I actually handled a proc for one of these beats if the heat sink was factory bonded or not? Will it detach from the CPU so I can swap these?
