        It is a good security measure to take to use only what you need
to so as
        not
        to increase your organizations attack surface and therefore
potential to
        be
        compromised.
        
        Take myITforum.com for example... it is very pretty, in a bits
tossed
        all
        over the webpage kind of way, but it also has a potential
security flaw
        which can be found in about 20 seconds of visiting the website.
        
        The majority of companies on NTSYSADMIN can probably be
compromised
        because
        of the overt overuse of "cool web" functionality that adds no
user
        experience except for glitz.
        
        Less is more :-)
