Joe, have you looked at this for the XP support?

Not that I can see. I'm looking under Hard Drive under my specific
model and all that's listed is a firmware upgrade, and some utilities.

They are not on IBM's site?

I just received 7 brand new Lenovo R61 laptops, which came with Vista
Business on them. I want to downgrade these to XP. Unfortunately, my
XP install CD doesn't have the SATA drivers, and does not see that there
are any hard drives in the laptop. I'm assuming that to manually
install these I would do it by pressing F6 at the beginning of the XP
install process, but where would I get the SATA drivers to begin with?
I've looked at Device Manager in Vista, and it shows that the driver
that's being used is a Windows driver.
