Attach Detach or backup and restore should work and make sure you set
the db compatability at 2008 level ( Maybe its 100 now, I know that 2005
was 90)

I had to do not an upgrade but move a bunch of databases, I just
detached, copied over and attached to the 2008 server without incident.
So from a db standpoint probably pretty straight forward.
