+1 on all points. -----Original Message----- From: Ralph Smith [mailto:m...@gatewayindustries.org] Sent: Monday, March 09, 2009 4:12 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: HRIS systems?
We use Sage ABRA HR. No idea of the cost - it was here when I started. I never actually use the software, but the HR Department seems to like it. -----Original Message----- From: Ben Scott [mailto:mailvor...@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, March 09, 2009 4:03 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: HRIS systems? We're using a package called Gradiance from a company called G.Neil (http://www.gneil.com/). It's major selling point is that it's pretty cheap. Fairly limited capabilities, but it's better than a bunch of Excel spreadsheets. Meets our needs, for the most part. One nice point is that it includes a client/server database -- it's not just a file on a share. I can't really *recommend* it, but I wouldn't say to avoid it, either. :) For payroll, we use ADP PC Payroll. Completely separate system. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ Confidentiality Notice: ---------------------------------- This communication, including any attachments, may contain confidential information and is intended only for the individual or entity to whom it is addressed.
