We are looking at possibly implementing VDI for a large deployment of new machines. Just wondering if anyone is well versed in the ways of VDI? I am having sort of an odd issue. Waiting for a consultant to call me back about it but it is bugging me and just want to solve the issue. Added a VLAN to our VM infrastructure. Created my template machine in that VLAN. Released the IP address. Powered down. Created my snapshot. Created my VDI pool and the first machine builds. When I try to connect I can not and the VDI console is showing Time Out during customization. I can ping the machine by IP address but not name and I am guessing that is why the customization is timing out. Any ideas?
