Agreed. If everyone on Linux/Unix was an admin, then there would be just as many 0wned Linux/Unix machines as Windows machines. That being said, it is my considered opinion (just an opinion, but based on years of working with linux) that the Linux/Unix security model is might tighter from the start. I know of at least a couple different Linux distributions which will not LET you log in interactively as "root." To do admin things you have to use the "sudo" command to get access to admin privileges. That being said, you can still get hacked. It's just harder out of the box to do so on *nix, in my considered opinion. Look, I make my living supporting Windows. If everyone used *nix, I'd have to find a REAL job. ;-)
