Right after taking the old server down, we had cnamed the old server name for a
while to the new servername in DNS. Seems to work pretty slick with both O2k3
and O2k7 in online mode.

Because we originally deployed Office 2003 via .msi in GPO, we had to use the
OCT to change the server name and re-deploy office, which was not a good choice
at the time. We built our O2k7 rollout with the new name.

Subject: Change the Exchange serer name in outlook with GPO?

We are moving to a new Exchange server here at work. And I wanted to
know how can I change the Exchange server name with GPO?
I have the Outlook 2007 Administrative Templates installed but I
cannot find the setting for the server name?

Can I specify the name with GPO in Outlook?

Thanks

Phil
