Download the driver, extract it, look in the .inf files from hpbpro or bpboid, 
if you see either of those, it's a farked driver and don't use it.

  HP's drivers started to enter into the area of "absolute crap" about
2 years ago.  That combined with a complete absence of customer
service is why we're buying Lexmark now.

  Does the 1020 speak PCL 5?  If so, try switching to the generic PCL
drivers that come with Windows.  "LaserJet 4" usually works.  We're
doing something like that for most of our existing HP printers.
