I recently built a replacement print server adding the print management role to
a windows 2008r2 server (64bit).
I have also deployed the new print shares to windows xp, vista and windows 7
PCs with group policy.
All XP PCs/2003 servers should have the client for group policies & preferences
(The name escapes me)
Everything is fine but when a user brings up "Printers" it will show opening on
the new server printers.
That lasts about 3 seconds but is it something I should worry about? Or is this
the way a 2008 R2 handles connections?

TIA
