I'm not that fond of the "smart" switches, even for home. Managed switches are
more flexible, IMO.

If I were trying to save some dough, I'd look into the SMC GS24CSMART, which
fits all your needs and is sold at newegg for $280. It's web managed, but if
you want something with a CLI and cheap you can go for the SMC 8024L2 for $450.

Also, I've had good luck with Netgear Prosafe switches. Back when PoE
was_really__expensive_ from the likes of HP or Cisco, I got a few Netgear
switches that are actually quite nice. They also rely on a web interface, but
they have been quite stable and they do what they advertise, feature wise.
They also come with a Lifetime Warranty. The Netgear Prosafe GS724AT seems to
fit your needs, and it's $360 from newegg. There's a newegg Buy 1 get 1 free
deal on the Netgear GS724TR, that's 2 24-port Gigabit switches for $550.

If I were a choosing, I'd probably still pay extra for the HP 2510G-24.
