I think from Jeff's formula it's 4 days :)

Guess - 2 hours, double that - 4 hours, next increment - Days = 4 Days
(2 hours * 2 = 4 hours) + increment = 4 days

engineers formula: Best educated guess; double that; take to next time
increment = actual time to complete.

Hey, guys? I have a potential customer with 7 laptops he wants rebuilt.
Here?s what he wants:

1 Format Hard Drive [can be done at the same time as #2]
2 Install Win Xp with Service Pack 2
3 Microsoft Office Package [already advised he needs to provide install
media and keys]
4 AVG Virus Software (Free Lifetime Updates)
5 Adobe Acrobat (Not sure if he wants Acrobat [non-free] or Adobe Reader
[free])
6 Laptop Cleaning of the keyboard, screen and other case.
7 Diagnostics of the entire system after to check hard, cdsrom, floppy,
etc.

I figure I can install Windows, Adobe Reader (unless he wants full
acrobat, in which case for licensing purposes, I'll have to install it on
each one separately) and such then create an image of the hard drive and
install that image on the rest. I don't want to overcharge, but I don't
want to short-change myself either.

My thought was about 2 hours per laptop if I image it, maybe 3 hours if I
have to install on each one individually. How long would you expect it
would take (actual "hands on the keyboard" time) to do this?
