Server Intellect has been really good for me for years. No idea where they're out of but honestly I'm not sure why it would matter?
Thanks, Brian Desmond [email protected] c - 312.731.3132 From: John Aldrich [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, November 12, 2009 9:21 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: web hosts We're in the process of looking for a hosting company for our new website. This will be a database driven website and probably written in .NET, or at least requires a Microsoft Windows web server with a small MS SQL database (under 100 megs, according to the web design firm.) Anyone got a suggestion? We'd prefer to stay "local" but there's not really any competent hosting companies in our immediate vicinity (had some issues with our ISP/current web host blocking access to our site from outside the US, for security reasons. They've since relaxed that a bit, but the attitude was "we won't open it up for everyone!") Failing being able to find someone locally, anyone got a recommendation for a good web host in the South East US region? There's one company out of Chattanooga that has done a lot of hosting for the National GOP, etc but I have it on good authority that they like to change the rules in the middle of the game for their hosting. I like to know up-front what it's going to cost us. :) Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
