IN network and sharing center, what profile does it set your network to? You might not be able to join a domain if the profile is "Public". Not sure about "Home" but it should show "Domain

Everything works well. The outside connection is an SDSL connection through a Thawte TZ-170 firewall to an unmanaged switch to which is connected the Server and all the Workstations. New computer - Window 7 Pro - 32 bit. It can ping the server, and can connect to the internet, but it CANNOT join the domain. When you attempt to join, you see the normal message "that an account is present in the domain, do you want to use that?" but as soon as you click "Yes" you immediately get a message saying that the network path was not found. Of course this is wrong, because you can ping the server and the first message shows the second one cannot be correct. Anyone seen this and have any suggestions?
