Is the service stopping or crashing? If it's crashing you probably have a
driver problem.

If you get me a dump I'll look:

Download Debugging Tools for Windows (google), install to C:\debuggers
Open cmd prompt cd \debuggers
Run cscript adplus.vbs -quiet -crash -pn spoolsv.exe

Wait for it to crash. I'll need the whole CRASH_MODE* folder under
c:\debuggers. It zips well. Email me offline when you have it.

Thanks,

Subject: SC Query

Hi All...

I'm having trouble with the print spooler stopping on a print server. I'm
trying the SC query command to find the exit code but the command returns 'the
specified service does not exist as an installed service'. I've tried sc query
print spooler, sc query spoolsv but get the same results. What am I doing
wrong?

Thanks in advance.
