Hrm ... OK. Well, seeing as how I have 2 othe DCs in that forest,
demoting that DC should be OK, I guess, as I will still have
resolution available to the forest (altho I will have to change the
"forwarders" entry on the DNS servers in the child domain, to not use
that particular DC as a forwarder anymore) ...

What about non-integrated zones? I also run a standard primary zone on
that DC. If I demote it to a member server, will it still continue to
serve up that standard primary zone? Or will that break, too, when I
demote the DC?
