The trick to this is to connect to the print server from a 32 bit client (so
goto \\server<file:///\\server> and browse the printers folder), and add the
drivers that way.

I just went through this and didn't have any issues. Try Deleting the drivers
and starting over from scratch? And make sure the driver versions for the 64
and 32 bit match. If I remember according to the documentation it won't work
if they don't.

Sorry, 2008 server, need 32-bit drivers for the XP clients. The 64 bit drivers
install fine when the printers are created. Just adding the 32-bit drivers
creates issues.

2003, 2008?
Driver versions have to match.

Subject: 32 bit drivers, 64-bit server
Hi Folks,

I'm having an issue with adding 32-bit drivers to a 64-bit print server. I try
to add, from the server, using the Print Console drivers option, select the
32-bit driver. I provide the path to i386. The path is ignored and the
install fails.

Then I tried to install the printers on a 32-bit print server, export, and
import onto the 64-bit server. Does not work.

Any other suggestions?
