I don't think you want to run two AV packages simultaneously -- that's just asking for trouble. I'd like to see a command-line deep-scanner from a second AV vendor that you could run nightly as a "Scheduled Task" while running a different AV as your "Active Protection" or "Real-Time Protection". McAfee used to offer a CL scanner, not sure if they still do. ClamAV does.
