Greetings!

We have a user (managerial level), all of whose docs have been saved in
her local profile.

She is now having to work remotely. She has this machine with her (and
she works through a combination of Citrix and VPN connections). HOWEVER,
we need her local profile to be backed up. (For the next couple of days,
the machine is here in the main center.)

I have copied her profile to a server and have adjusted her user settings
in ADUC to have her profile in this location. I copied her profile by
right-clicking "MyComputer\Properties\Advanced", selecting her local
profile, and browsing to her profile on the server.

However, now that the process is complete, the profile still shows in
"MyComputer\Properties\Advanced" as "Local". I click the "Change type..."
button, and the option to change this to a roaming profile is grayed-out.

The profile, BTW, is 1.7 Gb. (As I mentioned, it has ALL her documents in
it.)

Is it an issue that this profile on this machine remains as a "local
profile"? Any fairly simple way to change type to roaming profile?

Thanks...
