I remember watching "Soccer Made in Germany" on public television when I was a kid. I've never seen better games and match-ups since then, ever.
Also, I know I'm going to take c...@p for saying this, but I can't stand watching these guys today "writhe in pain" on the field after being nipped in the ankle or run into. I played for ten years or so as a kid and you had to be really hurt to stay down on the field like that. I think they need to start handing out yellows for "diving" like they do in hockey. Don't get me started about the "buzzing" from the crowd.... J I'm a big fan of the game and do watch. Don Guyer Systems Engineer - Information Services Prudential, Fox & Roach/Trident Group 431 W. I'd just like to remind everyone that England's two most successful World Cup campaigns (in '66 and '90) both started with distinctly underwhelming draws, against Uruguay and Ireland respectively. Therefore the draw against the US is nothing but a good sign and merely a cunning way of avoiding drawing the Germans in the second round :-) On 14 June 2010 11:26, tony patton <tony.pat...@quinn-insurance.com> wrote: I know i'm very late with this one, but +10000 :) Anyone but France and England :) Loved Green's goal. I'm not really into soccer but I will probably check out that game. I find it interesting that soccer is becoming more popular here in the US over the years.
