Not sure why it's happening, but my Windows 2003 R2 w/SP2 server keeps reporting this error on startup.
Event ID 7023, "The Single Instance Storage Groveler service terminated with the following error: The service has not been started. " Manually starting the service results in the same problem. I applied Hotfix 939383 to no avail. As a result, WDS won't start on the server since Groveler won't start. At a dead end here ...
