What version of Exchange? This functionality has been there forever although there are some limitations. It's more or less fully there in Exchange 2007 SP3 and Exchange 2010 SP1.

We have the following situation: 1) Novell currently handles our authentication, users, e-mail, etc. We have a Windows domain, but it's only for applications. 2) We are planning a migration from Novell to a new Windows AD domain. 3) The first stage of this migration is moving from Groupwise to Exchange. The plan here is to bring up the AD domain just enough to put users in, and install Exchange. The users would use OWA to access their e-mail. This brought up a concern for me: how do users change their AD passwords? When the accounts are created initially, we put on a temporary password, and let the users change it, but can they do that if the only connection they have is OWA? ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
