Mine's quite the opposite. When I get on the PC at night, I relinquish control of the TV remote to her and she gets to watch what she wants.

Thanks… I shoulda thought of that. ☺ As for calling Sunbelt… well, it was a time crunch, as my wife doesn’t like me to be on the computer much… She thinks it takes away from valuable “us” time. ☺ From: richardmccl...@aspca.org [mailto:richardmccl...@aspca.org] Sent: Monday, August 30, 2010 8:44 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: Probablems upgrading Vipre Home 1. The upgrade will then tell you to uninstall Avast first. (I had the AVG Rootkit detector on my V.I.S.T.A. box, and Sunbelt told me it would not hurt anything to keep it there. I guess the updated VIPRE begs to differ.) 2. In HKLM\Software, besides the Sunbelt keys, look in \Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall for the Sunbelt keys there. Also look for and install the Windows Installer Cleanup tool. That typically will take care of #2 (above). Too late now, but you really should have put in a phone call to Sunbelt first. A complete VIPRE or CSE uninstall is not supposed to be necessary.
