You could just grab a server and some drives to build a small dedicated
"SIG SAN"... provided you had a RAID controller of course.  At least for
test.

 

The switch question is a good one... would we need line rate speed along
with port security  that can be granularly applied to multiple outgoing
SIG queues, each with a QoS profile that would allow the SIG to be more
quickly displayed to important clients?
