We just switched 11 PRI circuits to PaeTec from Windstream. We were with CT Communications based out of Concord, NC, and were tickled pink with their service until Windstream bought them out and thoroughly fouled up customer service. It took us a year to get all 11 sites converted because Windstream's CSRs were so horribly fouled up. We had numbers from three or four different facilities on one CSR, so we had to wait weeks for the port out tickets to close out so we could put in a new LNP order for the next site. It has been....ummm.....fun.
What kind of billing problems does your accounting team have with PaeTec? Our accounting team is MUCH happier with PaeTec than we were with Windstream. In general, telecom providers are a bear to deal with on billing. I've had the pleasure of working with probably a dozen or more different telecom companies over the last decade, and the most common complaint I've seen has been with billing/invoicing.
