The biggest problem I had was defining the entries correctly on the
phone:

Server: mailserver.1234.com

Domain:1234

Username: just the username

SSL: must be "off" if you aren't using one. (this entry is just off the
bottom of the screen and easy to miss)

It is fairly simple and the iPhone/iPad devices actually work pretty
well with Exchange. Here are a few links I found useful:

Hello all,

I've been tasked with synchronizing our Microsoft Exchange with Apple
mobile devices. I imagine that this has already been a hot topic on
this forum in recent times so forgive me if I'm covering old ground, but
has anyone attempted this in a corporate environment before, and if so
please are you able to tell me of any potential pitfalls that I should
be aware of?

Many thanks,

Mark
