Hi Justin, This is the console trying to connect directly to the SQL database on your Vipre server so check that the connection settings are identical to the settings on the server console (server name, username, etc) and also use SQL authentication. Check that the firewall on the server is allowing the inbound connection - UDP 1434 and also the TCP port you are using - 1433 is the default but this may well be different.
You can also look in the ERRORLOG file (often in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG) and see if the connection got as far as SQL and if so, why it failed. If this doesn't help then please open a ticket at http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Supportform/ and a technician will assist you in getting that connected.
