You've spent more than $15 worth of time trying to save that $15, and for very dubious results. Buy the $50 known-good Netgear and move on to your next problem. For unmanaged switches, I, too, like the NetGear models with the all-metal housing. Compact, durable, robust. Keyhole notches for wall mounting. Aesthetics compatible with a business environment. You can put stuff on top of them and it won't roll off. For managed switches, in a small space, I use the HP (formerly 3Com) Intellijack. They mount in a wall box, replacing the passive wallplate, and can run off PoE. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
