ANY bad press for Window Phone 7 right now, whether deserved or not, is not
good.

It's called Windows Phone 7 but I understand some people are easily confused
as it's an awkward name overall.

My 2two work fine and I have a Samsung Focus as do three other people I know
who are happy with them. There are a lot of new processes being built out
here and I fully expect this process to work itself out just fine.

Historically Microsoft is always careful to not point the finger at any of
it's partners, ever. I strongly suspect someone (Samsung) may have failed
at their due diligence testing they were supposed to do which is unfortunate
and will result in random people blaming Microsoft instead of the actual
culprit.

Arstechnica does a pretty decent job overall but is at times a bit over the
top.

Oh, and Verizon does not currently have a Windows Phone 7 device, CDMA and
all that... just saying :)

My apologies to those with Windows 7 phones, Windows Phone 7, or whatever
the heck it's called.
