I was also under the (incorrect) assumption that SCE 2010 limited you to only 
30 servers. That was true in SCE 2007, but I see that it has been relaxed to 50 
servers in SCE 2010.

Why go the full route if you could use System Center Essentials?  That works 
very well in a VM even on Hyper-V.
