This might do it... it's a tri-band router with external antennas and it specifically mentions DD-WRT in the title: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833162033

Odd thing is that I can connect to the devices web interface every time, but getting beyond it (i.e.- across it as a bridge), I get all sorts of weird network hangs. Yet all the other devices in my home are just fine. I have configured as a bridge plugging in to a separate interface/subnet on my firewall Ive double checked my rulesets and logs there, and all seems fine, and its the same realest that fires for the rest of the wireless clients. One of these days Ill CAT5 my laptop directly in to one of the hardwired ports on the thing and see if eliminating the RF portion of the link changes anything. That begs the question: Does anybody have a recommendation for a AP that meets the following criteria: 1) Reasonably[1] inexpensive 2) Does simultaneous 2.4 and 5 GHz 3) External antennas 4) Runs DD-WRT well My current unit does not have #s 2& 3 -sc [1] For some definition of reasonable -sc From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, May 06, 2011 10:35 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: Slightly OT Wireless AP recommendation No, it's with a pretty old LinkSys WRT-54. I'm just pointing out that I too have a device that is the only one with connection problems. -- RMc "Steven M.
