I had already tried doing that. No joy. I noticed a few updates that were installed yesterday in the eventvwer (bad admin, I rarely restart my workstation or even manually apply updates). I removed those and still no joy.

Somehow the "HKCR\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B} key's permissions were changed so that only the TruestedInstaller had change permissions, and admin had read only.
