Did you use the miboot.image or the vmlinux file?
I tried both: vmlinux and miboot.image (2.4.30) and even older ones.
At what point does the kernel booting stop?
still at the IBAT3UL-Lines (about 10th line after welcome to Linux...)
But only if I try to boot into the installer ramdisk. Booting into
harddisk (dev/sda7 etc.) seems to work.
I don't understand: is this a bug in miboot? Since the kernel
(independent of the version) works while booting into a real disk but
don't with ramdisks, I guess it must be something in the handling of
the communication between miboot and the kernel (options).
If you used the vmlinux file try the miboot.image file.
