this new media-bay patch is essentially the same as I sent you.
But as I proposed it is now controlled by a task that is scheduled by
an interrupt service routine rather than a task that is scheduled
periodically.
I'd like to know if it also works with the PB5300 - especially if the
IDE interface is also working.
Now one could also try to integrate the SWIM II driver.
How far did you get with the 2.6 kernel until now, Raylynn?

I
built a kernel two day's ago, but hadn't had time to test on my
machines. I've been up for those two day's on my 7100 (w/ 225 Mhz G3),
but wanted to test on the 6100, 6290, 1400 and 5300 before posting it.
