Correct. Also applies to the fake Finder file.

Correct. The System and Finder files may be in a folder of their own,
which may be designated bootable with the hfsutils command hattrib, but
miBoot looks for all files (config, kernel, initrd) in the root by
default. There is room for improvement here.
