I have just spent the last 1.5 days trying to install my system from the internet. My gnome isbroken stating that it needs something I'll never use: gnomemeeting. So I probably will reinstall using the disks. Apt-get aptitude and dpkg are powerful tools yet I can't ever seem to get the dependencies correct.
The only success I've had has been the cd's, I think that I'll need to go back to that once again. It will be sid (unstable). Another option is to use www.backports.org and keep sarge (current stable).
