So that takes care of issue #1. Issues #2, animation, is still a problem for me. I presume I need to be using setPositionAnimCurve() or setPositionKey() instead of setPosition(), however aside from the function header, there appears to be no docs on those functions and I haven't figured out how to use them yet.
I'm pretty sure you'd have to call setPositionKey() if there's a key on the given frame, though sometime might correct me on that later.
