Actually I don't think it matters, as even pausing the viewer manually doesn't do what I need.
Essentially I am trying to setup a system whereby when the user makes changes to nodes, a write node will be executed to render that current frame with the changes. Kind of a "live render". I know it sounds silly, but it is for a good cause :) The problem is that if I tap into upstream knob changes and attempt to execute my write node based on a change, Nuke just refuses to do it, instead claiming that it is already working on something else. Presumably because it is rendering the viewer with the changes. Any thoughts on bypassing this?
