yes, it does. I haven't used in in years, but if memory serves right, you need 
to give it a tcl script and use $value (I think) to access the value that is 
being set to the obsolete knob. So you could use that to set the value in the 
new knob instead (i.e. if you switch from a checkbox to an enumeration knob or 
something).
