If you provide the filename, ON CREATION, it should autodetect the frame
range for you.

Subject: [Nuke-python] Autodetecting frame range when creating a Read

When you hit "r" to create a Read node, and point it to a .mov file, the
resulting read node will have its first and last frame detected from the
.mov, somehow.

How can this be done with Python?

Either way I do this, it seems the frame range cannot be detected, like
from the interactive menus.

How do they do it?
