Hate to bump this, as I know the last post was April 2011. But I am having this same problem but not using any groups/gizmos. I'm using a callback to check if a single noop node is selected and if it has a specific knob to execute a command. What I noticed we are both using is nuke.dependencies(). Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree but perhaps our problem has something to do with this.
Has anyone run into mysterious expression linking when using nuke.dependencies()?
