Thanks for the quick reply!

Unfortunately I should have been more specific. I'm working with actual bezier 
nodes. And in the past when I've had to do similar tasks I used toScript() but 
that was using baked keyframes.

In the meantime, what I've started doing and working relatively quickly right 
now: Converting the bezier to a roto node, getting the xy position, then 
deleting the roto node. Which is actually surprisingly working, though it 
sounds a bit odd.
