My first thought is I/O wait on whatever central storage you're using. What kinds of things are your init/menu files doing?

Subject: [Nuke-python] Profiling Nuke

Has anyone ever profiled Nuke? I'm trying to track down the cause of
some slow load times. We're at about 14 seconds right now.

So I dropped our entire init.py and menu.py into functions and ran
cProfile on them. But when I look at the pstats, it's only showing
around 5 seconds combined. Meanwhile, plain old vanilla Nuke loads in
like 2 seconds. So how would I account for the remaining time?
