I have a bunch of obj's in maya with textures on faces. I'm about to start 
writing a script that will disassemble the scene in maya and reassemble the 
scene in nuke.

Basically I'm going to:

duplicate the mesh for each shader
select faces with shader
reverse the selection and delete other faces leaving just the mesh that had 
that shader
then export each piece separately as obj
readGeo into nuke
attach texture to readGeo

I thought I'd ask to see if anyone as done this already?

Or has any advice?
