Just wanted to add my support for reverting to the old (pre-Nuke-9) behavior.
As much as I would love to see Nuke revert to a clean state without starting a
new process, I don't know how realistic it is to include the Python runtime in
that equation. Re-sourcing the init and menu scripts isn't enough... You would
likely need to do a complete teardown and reinitialization of the runtime, and
I don't know if that's possible to do safely.
Regardless, I definitely find the new behavior cumbersome, and I'm glad to hear
I'm not the only one. Thanks for getting it logged Declan.
