I'll take a look Tuesday when on a machine. Does this show the colour transform 
data? In the CDLtransform you can see slope, saturation etc... ? useful to 
check something's failed. Only the ref guide doesn't seem to include it. 

Out of interest though Is there a way to trigger the CDL to actually do the 
read via Python?
