A question regarding the older archives:

Is there any chance that the whole list archives could be included in the
web front end? I find they are extremely useful source of information, and
having them in the forum would make for a great one-stop place to search for
info posted in the past.

That's a nice idea, but I think having all the archives already dumped in
there would be a lot more useful. Is there any technical (or legal?) reason
that prevents you from doing that?
