So... I have tried it and it works perfectly:) But the way you told me it is a little more complicated. With the knowledge you supplied me with I was able to fully understand what they did in the tutorial. The way you told me how to do it would be to create a knob for every file which wasn't exactly what I wanted but would do the job. In the tutorials they did this:
They created as you said a noOp Node and created a Filename and named it "Tutorial_Path". Then they put here the folder where all the material lies. For example /Volumes/User/Nuke/Nuke_Tutorials Now they imported a image sequence which had the directory called: /Volumes/User/Nuke/Nuke_Tutorials/Sequences/Filename.exr Then in the read node they replaced the directory with [value NoOp1.Tutorial_Path]/Sequences/Filename.exr Meaning the [...] is the mainfolder in which everything is and after that the subfolders. And this mainfolder could be on an portable external harddrive, and with this expression you do not have to relink every single file but just link the mainfolder to the NoOp1 node and everything is there :) Yaay :) Thank you very much, Jaden :) And I hope I could help anyone who had the same problem, question or just found this interessting to know :) Greetz Julian
